Hear ye, hear ye! The 27th annual Ohio Renaissance Festival is currently ongoing on weekends until October 23rd. Located in Harveysburg, Ohio, not far from Cincinnati, Dayton, and Columbus, the annual Renaissance Festival is a tradition in southern Ohio. Featuring a ton of the events you’ve read about in history books, the Ohio Renaissance Festival is in full swing!
The Ohio Renaissance Festival spans eight weekends and officially ends on October 23rd. Tickets prices are $21.95 for adults and $9.95 for children ages five to 12. Children under the age of five are admitted for free.
The Renaissance Festival takes place in a 30-acre village that has been both authentically and historically recreated to look, feel, and sound like England in the 1700s. As you might have guessed, this is one bustling village!
Visitors can take in a full day of entertainment that includes knights jousting and Queen Elizabeth I presiding over the festivities. Dozens of entertainers, including jesters, jugglers, and sword fighters, cover 11 stages and perform around 100 shows every day.
Master artisans demonstrate blacksmithing, glassblowing, and other interesting, rarely seen crafts. Food is reminiscent of the 1700s as well with giant turkey legs, bread bowl stews, and ales making their way into the mouths of thousands of visitors.
We here at Bush Auto Place hope to see you at the 27th annual Ohio Renaissance Festival!
