It’s almost summer, which means America’s favorite pastime—baseball—is in full swing. The 2016 season is especially off to a great start for the Cincinnati Reds, Bush Auto Place’s favorite MLB team. This year brings about some new players and even some new changes to the Great American Ballpark.

The new players includes:

  • Caleb Cotham #54 – pitcher
  • Tim Melville #61 – pitcher
  • Ross Ohlendorf #27 – pitcher
  • Jordan Pacheco #15 – catcher/infielder
  • Scott Schebler #43 – left field
  • Alfredo Simon #31 – pitcher
  • Dan Straily #58 – pitcher
  • Blake Wood #36 – pitcher

There are also plenty of intriguing changes to the Red’s stadium. Hang out in a new rooftop patio called the Fioptics District. This area includes a full-service walk-in bar, lounging chairs, a 15-foot video board, and beautiful panoramic views of the downtown skyline.

Back on the main levels, there is also an all-you-can-eat concession stand. This is only $20 to get unlimited hot dogs, sodas, peanuts, chips, and popcorn. In addition, there have been more arcade games and other family-oriented activities added to the Machine Room and other areas.

Of course, we can’t forget to mention that Pete Rose, an all-time hits leader, is being inducted into the Reds Hall of Fame on June 25th, 2016. In his honor, #14 is being retired.

These are just a few of the new things that you will find at the Red’s this year. We hope you get a chance to catch a few games this summer! We know all of us at Bush Auto Place will be going to Cincinnati, OH for a few games!
