Chevrolet has developed the ultimate tool against snowy blizzards: the Silverado 2500HD Alaskan Edition. Designed with a number of features, including a stainless-steel snowplow, this model is built to be work-ready for the upcoming winter. Not only does it have power, but the new Alaskan Edition also comes with an advanced design to make your ride comfortable and safe, as well as capable.
According to Chevrolet, the new Alaskan Edition comes with a silver-accented blue exterior, a grizzly decal, and chrome trim. There are also 20-inch chrome wheels, and a leveling kit works to ensure your plow is well-balanced. There are also available DuraTrac tires for better traction, a spray-in bedliner, underbody shield, and heavy-duty front springs.
“No matter what the weather brings, Chevrolet HD trucks are designed to make the toughest jobs easier,” said Sandor Piszar, Chevrolet Truck marketing director. “The new Alaskan Edition gives customers in snow country a stronger tool for tackling the worst that winter throws at them.”
The interior comes with a rubberized floor covering to keep snow and slush contained. Under the hood of the Alaskan Edition is a 6.6-liter V8 turbo-diesel engine that gets up to 445 horsepower and 910 lb-ft of torque—enough to make quick work of any snow pile. If you plan on doing some serious snow removal this winter season, consider the new Alaskan Edition.
We aren’t sure we have any Alaskan Edition at our dealership, but we do have plenty the Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD at Bush Auto Place in Wilmington, OH right now.
