Wilmington is a pretty small city, but that doesn’t mean there’s nothing to do here. If you’re looking for something to do this weekend or just want to know more about Wilmington, the following are some of our favorite things to do in Wilmington.
Things to Do in Wilmington for Kids
If you’re looking for something the whole family can do, Wilmington is a great place for it. Wilmington was a Quaker settlement in the earliest days of the US, so it’s teeming with history, and kids will love a visit to the Rombach Place Museum. You should also take them for a day of fun at the Adventure Cove Miniature Golf!
Fun for the Adults
If you’re looking for more adult-oriented entertainment, you might enjoy a round of golf at Elks 797, or you can visit Cherrybend Pheasant Farm and attend an event or go hunting. Outdoor lovers will enjoy the many parks with great hiking trails in Wilmington, including Cowan Lake State Park and David R. Williams Memorial Park, which has a handicap-accessible playground.
Wilmington also plays host to various festivals throughout the year, including the upcoming Banana Split Festival in the summer, which features concerts and our favorite, classic car shows!
Whatever you’re interested in, you’ll find something fun to do in Wilmington. The Bush Auto Place staff hopes to see you soon!
